LIMITED EDITION GICLEE PRINTS
PAPER | Printed on ENHANCED MATTE (200gsm) a high-quality, heavyweight fine art paper with a smooth, clean finish. The matte finish emphasizes different highlights and tones in the artwork, helping to create stunning works of art.
PRINTS | Can also be supplied on HAHNEMUHLE GERMAN ETCHING paper, a heavy-duty paper (310gsm) with a slightly textured finish. The velvety matte surface is optimised for high-contrast prints and works brilliantly for limited editions. Approx prices in FAQs.
CANVAS | I use artist-grade, finely textured cotton canvas which consistently reproduces image details with outstanding clarity and detail.
INKS | (PAPER & CANVAS) Water-resistant archival pigment inks are used on both substrates. The word “Giclee” is french for sprayed ink. Today the term is used to describe a sophisticated inkjet printmaking process which creates the highest quality fine art reproductions.
LONGEVITY | Research indicates your print will last in excess of 150 years in optimal conditions. Please never hang in direct sunlight though.
LIMITED EDITION | All prints are limited to 25 per size & material plus 2 artists’ proof. Each is digitally signed.
DIGITISATION | The digitising quality is excellent and every brushstroke has been captured with an EPSON EXPRESSION 11000XL 3.8 Dmax (Dynamic Range).
COLOURS | Colours on screens differ, so the colours of your artwork might deviate from the screen version, but rest assured they will look good.
PACKAGING | All prints are shipped unframed, in a postal tube.
FRAMING | When framing your art on paper please consider white or off-white mount card. Anything else tends to overwhelm the artwork. A simple black, white or wooden moulding will complete the look.
