ONCE UPON A TIME
an extra set of footprints walked beside me. His name was Adrian. He was my husband. Gorgeous, compassionate, seriously creative and devoted to my boys and I. He died on 20th October 2016. I wonder if I will ever be able to write those words without infinite sadness?
“THERE ARE SOME REALITIES THAT CAN ONLY BE SEEN THROUGH EYES THAT HAVE BEEN CLEANSED BY TEARS”
Adrian’s last gift to me. TEARS. I can’t begin to tell you what those tears have done to my soul. How they have made me look at my thoughts, my words, my actions, my all. If I could say one thing to the world at large. Seize your life, your opportunities, your destiny. Immeasurably love those by your side. Follow your dreams if at all possible. Otherwise simply find moments for your soul to be free, to consider eternity. For this life is a gift with an expiry date and tomorrow was never promised.
